Safe Zones is a student run organization at Washington University in St. Louis established in 2005. We are dedicated to promoting awareness and discussion about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and ally (LGBTQIA) issues. Through educational programs, we hope to provide a means for students of all identities to confront the issues they face and to educate the community. We facilitate workshops and host events to educate the WashU community in order to create a more accepting and supportive environment on campus.
