Mississippi Prom Canceled Over Lesbian Couple’s Attendance

Recently a Mississippi school canceled its prom, rather than allow a lesbian student to bring her girlfriend and wear a tux.

Now a judge has ruled that the student’s rights were violated, although the prom is still off.

Transgender Day of Remembrance – Friday, Nov. 20

This Friday is the International Transgender Day of Remembrance.  Come to the Clock Tower at 5:00pm to participate in the candlelight vigil and group discussion.

NCOD (National Coming Out Day) at WashU!

While October 11th is technically National Coming Out Day, we are celebrating at WashU on Monday, October 12th.

The LGBT community at WashU will have a table in the DUC all day– Safe Zones, Pride Alliance, etc. will be represented.
